This Privacy Policy explains how DonutSMP collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our Minecraft servers, Discord community, support/ticket systems, and related services.

3. Information we do not routinely store
- Your game client version as a permanent profile field.
- Raw integrity-check data or results beyond what is needed for an active security or moderation case.
- A separate permanent archive of all Discord content.
- All in-game chat messages.
- Continuous proximity voice recordings.
4. Why we use information
We use information to operate the servers, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce rules, investigate reports, answer support requests, protect users, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Where information is stored
Information may be stored in server databases, moderation systems, support tools, backups, and third-party platforms used to provide the service. Data may be processed in countries other than your own.
6. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers, platform operators, payment processors, professional advisers, or authorities when necessary to operate the service, enforce our rules, protect rights and safety, or comply with law.
7. Retention
Retention depends on the purpose and active cases. Typical targets are: IP and login records up to 12 months; support transcripts up to 36 months; voice moderation evidence up to 12 months or longer while a case remains active; and Discord records according to platform settings and moderation requirements.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. To help us verify and process a request, include your Minecraft username and UUID, Discord account details where relevant, the request you are making, and enough information to identify the affected records.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
